Return Policy

When purchasing from our physical store, clients do not have the right to a refund, only the exchange of goods is possible. Any costs associated with the exchange are for the client. A request for exchange must be communicated in writing to Belat bv by the client within 8 days after the date of the invoice. Later requests will not be accepted. The client can cancel their order without any cost until a payment has been made by the client.

To maintain the right to warranty, the following conditions must be observed. The warranty only applies if the purchased floor has been processed strictly in accordance with the installation instructions, and is cleaned and maintained. The floorboards must be inspected for any defects before and during installation. A floor that is laid despite visible defects is excluded from the warranty. An order where the products are outside the tolerances can only be exchanged as a whole order provided this is reported in writing to Belat bv within 30 days after the invoice date. The delivered product is 100% termite and woodworm free. Belat bv is therefore not liable for related damage. The warranty does not apply in case of unwise use, accident, incorrect handling, incorrect installation, incorrect cleaning, or lack of normal maintenance, wear from normal use, damage and scratching caused by negligence, water or sand, installing flooring in a damp room, or any careless use of the product.

Right of withdrawal for online purchases

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party nominated by you, who is not the carrier, physically receives the last item. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. written by post, fax or email). You can use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but it is not obligatory. (model form)

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and are made on the basis of an individual choice or decision by the consumer, or which are clearly intended for a specific person.
